What is AQUIFER?

Source description

“Aquifer is a pricing and execution layer for tokenized equities on Robinhood Chain (chain ID 4663). It discovers every liquidity pool for a given equity token across the venues deployed on the chain, reads each pool’s price, liquidity, fee, and tick data directly from contract storage via batched eth_call, and simulates a specific order size against that state rather than quoting a midpoint. Because concentrated-liquidity pools price differently at different sizes, Aquifer walks the order through each pool’s tick ladder to determine the fill a trader would actually receive. It then allocates the order across venues by marginal price until no remaining slice would execute better elsewhere. Every response includes the block number it was read at, making quotes reproducible. The project consists of a web terminal, a keyless public REST API, an Android application, and an on-chain router contract that executes multi-venue splits in a single transaction. Coverage currently spans eleven instruments — SPY, QQQ, NVDA, AAPL, TSLA, MSFT, GOOGL, AMZN, META, AMD, and PLTR — quoted against USDG.”

AQUIFER FAQ

How does Aquifer calculate an equity-token quote instead of relying on a midpoint price?

Aquifer states that it simulates the requested order size against current pool state. For concentrated-liquidity pools, it follows the order through each pool’s tick ladder, accounting for how available liquidity and pricing change at different sizes. This approach is presented as a way to estimate the fill a trader would actually receive rather than displaying only a midpoint between quoted prices.

How does Aquifer compare liquidity pools across venues on Robinhood Chain?

The project describes a process that discovers every liquidity pool for a selected equity token across venues deployed on Robinhood Chain. It reads each pool’s price, liquidity, fee, and tick data directly from contract storage using batched eth_call requests. Aquifer then uses those inputs to evaluate execution across venues, with coverage quoted against USDG.

How does Aquifer split an order between multiple venues?

Aquifer presents a marginal-price allocation method for order routing. It evaluates execution across available pools and assigns portions of the order to the venues offering the better next execution price. The allocation continues until no remaining slice would execute more favorably elsewhere, allowing the project’s router to combine venue-level fills rather than relying on a single pool.

What makes Aquifer’s execution responses reproducible?

According to the project, every response includes the block number at which the underlying on-chain state was read. Because the quote is tied to a specific block, users can identify the contract state used for the calculation and reproduce the response under the same conditions. This applies to the pricing and execution information returned through Aquifer’s described interfaces.

What interfaces and execution tools does Aquifer provide?

The project consists of a web terminal, a keyless public REST API, an Android application, and an on-chain router contract. Aquifer describes the router as capable of executing multi-venue order splits in a single transaction, while the other interfaces provide access to its pricing and execution-layer functions. The stated coverage includes eleven instruments, including SPY, QQQ, NVDA, AAPL, and TSLA.

AQUIFER metric comparison

This comparison is a stored snapshot generated 2026-10-04 06:30 UTC from 25 daily observations available from 2026-09-10 through 2026-10-04. It is separate from the latest analytical cards above. Percentiles compare the snapshot value with that day's analytical universe; a higher percentile means a larger observed value, not necessarily a better investment characteristic.

YearBull Rank is a relative placement score used on YearBull to compare a coin against peers within the same dataset. A smaller rank number indicates a stronger position at that moment.

Phase read: If the line stair-steps, the cycle may be driven by discrete inputs. cycle shifts often show up as slope changes, not spikes.

Where it trades: If the line is step-like, watch for discrete market changes. changes can follow how the coin is routed across markets.

Liquidity note: If the line only moves on high-volume days, liquidity is a key filter. rank can move when liquidity redistributes across the cohort.

Risk posture: If the curve is step-like, it may be reacting to discrete inputs. range behavior tells more than a single point.

Practical note: cohort shifts can move rank even without coin-specific news.
