What is DragonSwap (DRG)?

Source description

“Launched in June 2024, DragonSwap is the native liquidity hub on Sei Network. It serves as the native automated market maker (AMM) on Sei and supports multiple liquidity types, including constant product (XYK) pools, concentrated liquidity pools, and permissionless yield farms to incentivize liquidity provision across a range of trading pairs. By leveraging Sei’s parallelized and high-throughput infrastructure, DragonSwap can process transactions with low latency and minimal time to finality. This enables a seamless user experience, particularly for traders seeking fast execution and reduced slippage. The Sei Network’s Giga upgrade further enhances the protocol’s ability to scale with growing user and volume demand. Liquidity providers (LPs) on DragonSwap can choose between simple XYK pools or concentrated liquidity positions, offering greater flexibility in how capital is deployed. LPs earn a share of trading fees generated within each pool. In addition to organic fee revenue, DragonSwap offers emissions-based incentives to reward liquidity on strategic trading pairs. These incentives are managed through internal mechanisms and updated periodically based on market conditions. DragonSwap is powered by the DRG token, which plays a central role in protocol incentives. DRG is used to reward LPs, bootstrap liquidity, and support ecosystem development. A portion of token emissions are allocated to farms and other incentives that drive network activity and user engagement. DragonSwap was built with a modular architecture that supports ongoing upgrades and ecosystem integrations. Its smart contracts are open-source and have undergone audits to ensure a secure and transparent foundation. The protocol emphasizes efficiency, accessibility, and sustainability in its design.”

DragonSwap (DRG) FAQ

How does DragonSwap’s liquidity design accommodate different provider strategies?

DragonSwap states that it supports both constant-product (XYK) pools and concentrated-liquidity positions. XYK pools offer a simpler way to supply assets, while concentrated liquidity lets providers target selected price ranges and deploy capital more selectively. The project also describes permissionless yield farms that can add emissions-based incentives to particular trading pairs, alongside the trading-fee share available to liquidity providers.

What role does DRG play in DragonSwap’s ecosystem?

The project presents DRG as the token at the center of DragonSwap’s incentive system. It is described as a reward for liquidity providers and as a tool for bootstrapping liquidity and supporting ecosystem development. DragonSwap further states that some DRG emissions are directed to farms and other incentive programs, with allocations updated through internal mechanisms as market conditions change.

Why does DragonSwap emphasize Sei’s parallelized infrastructure?

DragonSwap positions its deployment on Sei as important for execution speed and trading efficiency. According to the project, Sei’s parallelized, high-throughput infrastructure can support low-latency transactions and short finality times. DragonSwap says this is intended to help traders obtain faster execution and reduce slippage, while the network’s Giga upgrade is described as providing additional room for user and trading-volume growth.

How are liquidity providers expected to earn on DragonSwap?

DragonSwap describes two main reward channels for liquidity providers. First, providers can receive a share of the trading fees generated by the pool in which they supply liquidity. Second, selected pairs may receive additional emissions-based rewards through farms. The project says these incentive programs are managed internally and periodically adjusted to reflect market conditions and strategic liquidity needs.

DragonSwap metric comparison

This comparison is a stored snapshot generated 2026-10-22 06:31 UTC from 291 daily observations available from 2025-12-30 through 2026-10-22. It is separate from the latest analytical cards above. Percentiles compare the snapshot value with that day's analytical universe; a higher percentile means a larger observed value, not necessarily a better investment characteristic.

YearBull Rank is a comparative ordering used on YearBull to place a coin versus others using a consistent set of inputs. A smaller rank number indicates a stronger position at that moment.

Cycle context: If both windows align, the direction is clearer. cycle pressure can surface as slow bleed in rank.

Flow context: If the curve improves and holds, it is usually more structural. bursty volume can create temporary re-ordering.

Trading footprint: If the line is step-like, watch for discrete market changes. consolidation can make rank more stable.

Volatility posture: If it is flat for long, the coin may be tracking the cohort. ranking moves can reflect regime shifts rather than one-off events.
