What is XX Network (XX)?
Source description
“What is the xx network (xx)? The xx network is a “full-stack” platform which combines a native scalable, quantum-ready layer 1 blockchain with the most private communications network in the world. Invented by cryptographer David Chaum, the godfather of digital currency and privacy, the xx network’s cMix communications layer provides complete metadata protection to all network communications. Using the xxDK, any application or blockchain platform can route their traffic through the xx network and provide quantum-secure, end-to-end encryption to their own transactions. The performance of the network is demonstrated by the xx messenger which is available on major app stores and is the first quantum-secure, end-to-end encrypted messenger that is completely decentralized. The xx network utilizes nominated Proof-of-Stake (nPoS) to incentivize all coin holders to elect consensus and communication nodes and participate in governance. The xx coin is used for: * Small fees for processing transactions * Voting for validator and mix nodes on the network via staking * Used to vote for governance referendums and treasury spending What problem is the xx network trying to solve? The aim of cryptocurrencies (and blockchain more generally) is to decentralize ownership and power so that coin holders, nodes, and users have control rather than entrenched, centralized entities. The blockchain movement, to a large extent, is a populist reaction to a global history rife with exploitation of centralized control by small groups serving their own self-interest. In the modern tech world, the introduction of the high-speed, global internet has enabled email, social media, and mobile applications to transform the way we communicate and exchange value.”

XX Network (XX) FAQ
How does the xx network describe its cMix communications layer?
The project describes cMix as a communications layer designed to protect metadata across network communications. In addition to encrypting message content, its stated purpose is to reduce exposure of information about communications themselves. The xx network presents this layer as part of a broader platform combining blockchain functions with privacy-focused communications.
What does the xxDK enable applications and blockchain platforms to do?
According to the project, the xxDK allows applications and blockchain platforms to route their traffic through the xx network. The project states that this can provide quantum-secure, end-to-end encryption for their own transactions, positioning the toolkit as an integration path for services that want to use the network’s communications and security features.
How is the xx messenger presented within the xx network ecosystem?
The xx network presents xx messenger as a decentralized communications application available through major app stores. The project describes it as quantum-secure and end-to-end encrypted, while also identifying it as a practical demonstration of the network’s communications performance. These are project claims about the messenger’s architecture and security characteristics.
What roles does the xx coin have in network governance and operations?
The xx coin is described as serving several network functions. It is used for small transaction-processing fees, staking-based voting for validator and mix nodes, and voting on governance referendums and treasury spending. Together, these roles position the coin as a mechanism for routine network activity, node selection, and community participation in specified decisions.
XX Network metric comparison
This comparison is a stored snapshot generated 2026-10-22 06:31 UTC from 292 daily observations available from 2025-12-30 through 2026-10-22. It is separate from the latest analytical cards above. Percentiles compare the snapshot value with that day's analytical universe; a higher percentile means a larger observed value, not necessarily a better investment characteristic.

YearBull Rank is a comparative ordering used on YearBull to place a coin versus others using a consistent set of inputs. Lower values mean higher placement in the YearBull ordering. It is a context signal for relative placement, not an outcome forecast.
Cycle view: Compare the 30d move with the 7d move to see if momentum is accelerating or fading.
Market access: If the line range narrows, access may be stabilizing.
Risk context: Read it as "how stable is the position" rather than "how exciting is today".
Liquidity view: If the line flatlines, the coin may be moving with its liquidity peers.
