The underlying economic exposure is therefore tied to consumer loans secured by residential property, rather than to a blockchain-native application whose value comes mainly from user fees or token incentives. Figure’s public filings describe its platform as originating, recording, financing, and trading loan assets, while its Figure Connect marketplace is designed for tokenized home-equity and other consumer loans.

The token’s name should not be read as evidence that a holder directly owns a specific borrower’s mortgage lien or has a simple retail claim on Figure.
