What is Ouroboros (ORX)?
Source description
“ORX is a TitanX ecosystem asset, and as such, the launch phase is tailored to massively incentivise the locking of TitanX within the ORX minter contract. To achieve this, a massive 95% of supply is given to TitanX deposits. This is reflected in the expected ROI's of the minter shortly after launch. For those with little time, or a lack of desire to understand the more complex push/pull factors included in the ORX supply distribution, simply deposit TitanX via the 'DEPOSIT TITANX' tab, and hold for as long as you are comfortable. You can track the status of your ORX vests in the 'Vest ORX' tab further down the page. ORX Acquisition Methods There are two primary methods of acquiring ORX via the minter. The first is via TitanX deposits, and the second is via Ethereum deposits. If both routes needed to be summed up in a sentence: TitanX Deposits: are for those who want a majority stake in ORX, at the cost of greater time preference, less agility, and a once off claim process which penalises early claims. Ethereum Deposits: are for those who want to support protocol liquidity, in exchange for the added benefit of capital agility, the earliest unlock time, and progressive unlocking (meaning no early claim penalties). Since ETH contributors are getting a much smaller percentage of supply, and are directly supporting protocol liquidity, a disproportionate share of future airdrops (IF they happen) MAY go toward ETH contributors.”

Ouroboros (ORX) FAQ
How does TitanX locking relate to ORX’s launch-phase supply distribution?
The project states that ORX’s launch phase is structured to strongly encourage TitanX deposits into the ORX minter contract. It describes 95% of the supply as being allocated to TitanX deposits, making this route the primary mechanism for acquiring ORX during the launch phase. The stated trade-off is a larger potential stake in ORX in exchange for a longer time commitment and reduced flexibility.
What happens after depositing TitanX through the ORX minter?
According to the project, TitanX deposited through the minter generates ORX subject to a vesting process rather than providing an immediately transferable allocation. Users can monitor the status of their ORX vesting through the project’s “Vest ORX” interface. The project also describes a once-off claiming process for TitanX depositors, with early claims subject to penalties.
How does the Ethereum deposit route differ from TitanX deposits?
The project presents Ethereum deposits as an alternative acquisition route intended to support protocol liquidity. Compared with TitanX deposits, this method is described as offering greater capital agility, an earlier unlock time, and progressive unlocking without early-claim penalties. The project also states that Ethereum contributors receive a smaller share of the overall ORX supply than TitanX depositors.
What trade-offs does the project associate with the two ORX acquisition methods?
The project characterizes TitanX deposits as suitable for participants seeking a majority stake in ORX, while accepting a longer time preference, less agility, and potential early-claim penalties. Ethereum deposits are positioned for participants who want to support liquidity while retaining more flexibility, earlier unlocking, and progressive vesting. These are project-stated distinctions, not an independent assessment of outcomes.
Ouroboros metric comparison
This comparison is a stored snapshot generated 2026-10-23 06:31 UTC from 293 daily observations available from 2025-12-30 through 2026-10-23. It is separate from the latest analytical cards above. Percentiles compare the snapshot value with that day's analytical universe; a higher percentile means a larger observed value, not necessarily a better investment characteristic.

YearBull Rank is a relative placement score used on YearBull to compare a coin against peers within the same dataset. Lower rank numbers indicate stronger placement in the current snapshot.
Rotation context: If the line is range-bound, treat changes as relative, not absolute.
Risk view: If the last month is chaotic, widen the lookback before concluding.
Market access: If rank holds gains, the footprint is likely supporting the move.
Liquidity framing: If the curve is jagged, widen the window before concluding.
Practical note: direction and persistence matter more than the last tick.
